Technical Support Engineer

Under the responsibility of Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes and provide technical

support to our vendors in their machining, sheet metal, fabrication, and welding operations. The role requires a focus on improving process efficiency,

ensuring product quality, and supporting production goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas and a proactive approach to

problem-solving

To do this, you will be required to :

- Process Optimization:

Analyse and improve machining, sheet metal, fabrication, and welding processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Understanding of 3D printed technologies and their application in process optimisation.

-Quality Assurance:

Develop and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed specifications.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and outputs.

-Vendor and Supplier Management:

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and components.

Address and resolve any issues related to material quality or delivery.

-Project Management:

Lead and support projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions.

Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

-Technical Support:

Provide technical support to production teams for troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.

Assist in the design and implementation of tooling and fixtures.

-Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of process changes, quality issues, and performance metrics.

Prepare and present reports on manufacturing performance and improvement initiatives.
